The culprits are coming back to Pokemon Go, and this time, they will have a whole event dedicated to them.
Starting March 25th, 2023, and ending on March 29th, 2023, the Team Go Rocket Takeover event will be featuring Shadow Regice, a Pokemon kidnapped by Giovanni and his team. As always, there will be Special Research available to players if they want to get a Super Rocket Radar and meet with Giovanni.
Pokemon that will be turning into Shadow Pokemon during the Team Go Rocket Takeover event are:
- Shadow Alolan Grimer
- Shadow Phanpy
- Shadow Treecko
- Shadow Torchic
- Shadow Drifloon
The Pokemon that will be hatching from 12km Eggs (obtained by defeating Team Go Leaders) are:
- Larvitar
- Absol
- Skorupi
- Sandile
- Scraggy
- Pawniard
- Vullaby
- Deino
- Pancham
- Skrelp
- Salandit
Bonuses that will be active during the Team Go Rocket Takeover event in Pokemon Go are the following:
- Team Go Rocket will appear more frequently at PokeStops and in balloons
- Shadow Pokemon can forget the Charged Attack Frustration by using a Charged TM
Last but not least, there will be a Field Research task that will feature a Mysterious Component as a reward, so keep an eye out for that one.
